Surpassing the 100 million transaction milestone on the Robinhood Chain has exposed an unexpected architectural hurdle: the network is heavily congested by algorithmic trading agents. While L2 solutions typically compete for retail users, Robinhood Chain has morphed into a battleground for automated bots.
These agents exploit the network's negligible fees to conduct micro-arbitrage across stablecoin pairs, generating a massive volume of zero-value transactions that provide minimal organic growth to underlying protocols. This imposes significant pressure on the Arbitrum Orbit sequencer nodes. If this trend persists, validators may be forced to overhaul gas pricing mechanics to disincentivize bot spam and preserve bandwidth for legitimate financial settlement. This represents the first major stress test for the network's infrastructural integrity.
